Alan Walker to join Justin Bieber on India Tour

Mumbai, Apr 8 : Norwegian music producer and DJ Alan Walker will be one of the opening international acts of Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour.

Walker, who recently played in the country, says he is looking forward to his visit here once again.

“I’m really looking forward to going back to India. My last performance was incredible, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

“It’s also a great opportunity and an honor to play with Justin Bieber. Who knows, maybe my Indian fans will have a chance to hear some of my new music?” Walker, 19, said in a statement.

Walker scored fame after one of his songs “Fade” (which later became “Faded”) became a massive European success. He surpassed the charts in ten countries and entered the Top Five in six others, becoming the most Shazam-ed song in the world.

Some of his other popular titles include “Alone” and “Sing Me to Sleep”.

Other opening and final alignments of the India Day of the Purpose Tour will be announced by mid-April, said Arjun Jain, Director of White Fox India.

The concert will take place at DY Patil Stadium here on May 10th.
