Annette Bening to get BAFTA Career Retrospective
Los Angeles, Sep 19 PTI : Veteran actor Annette Bening is ready to talk about her career in the films of one of the events of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), “A Life in Pictures” in London on 12 October.
The 59-year-old BAFTA winning actor and Oscar-nominated actor will discuss his career and career at “BAFTA: A Life in Pictures” next month at the Savoy Hotel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bening received her first BAFTA nomination for the neo-noir drama “The Grifters” in 1990 for best female actress in a supportive role.
But she won her first British Academy Award for “American Beauty” in 2000 in the category Best Female Actor in a leading role.
Bening was again nominated in the category Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role for 2011 “The Kids Are All Right”.
In the past, the series “Life in Pictures” has hosted stars such as Kenneth Branagh, Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, David Fincher, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson, Sam Mendes, Alan Rickman, Vanessa Redgrave, Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet and Jeremy Irons.
