Mark Ruffalo praises female cast of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
London, Sep 14 PTI : Actor Mark Ruffalo praised both Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson for their role in the upcoming film “Thor: Ragnarok”.
The 49-year-old actor has played the role of Bruce Banner / The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since “The Avengers” and resumes his role in the third film “Thor” alongside Chris Hemsworth.
The film marks the first time that the MCU will feature a naughty main female, Hela, played by Blanchett. It also presents another strong Valkyrie (Thompson), reported by Contactmusic.
“It is great that Blanchett and Thompson, these two amazing, powerful, strong, beautiful and intelligent women, play these two important characters and integrate in this film, we have Hela, played by Blanchett. strength, all the talent of one of the other gods, but with all the rage.
“Then you have Valkyrie played by Thompson, she is another female presence that has not felt welcome, she is a driving force and a brilliant fighter, she is as powerful as Thor. The Valkyrie is one of the people who ended up banishing Asgard’s Hela, “said Ruffalo.
