Never thought I could make a movie: Angelina Jolie
Los Angeles, Sep 11 PTI : Actor Angelina Jolie, who made her directorial debut with “In the Land of Blood and Honey” in 2011, says she never imagined she could ever direct or write a movie.
The film, with the Bosnian actors Zana Marjanovic and Goran Kostic and the Croatian actor Rade Serbedzija, represented a love story on the background of the Bosnian war.
The 42-year-old girl says well that management has never been in her plans, she has always wanted to work with artists from other parts of the world, said Deadline.
“I never thought I could make a film or write one, it was never part of my plan, and for me it was not just a director, I think our world is stronger for diversity and I love learning cultures. the greatest way to learn deeply and to know oneself.
“In my humanitarian work, I am passionate about it.
These are my heroes, the people with whom I am involved. They taught me to be a better person, a better mother, to live, to value. If I can make films that bring their stories to life, I think these are important stories, “Jolie told the Toronto International Film Festival.
Jolie brought her fourth directorial effort, “First They Killed My Father”, a foreign language film in Cambodia that bowed to Telluride at TIFF.
